The Power of a Good Friend

(Children’s Poem)
A good friend shows up when the world feels loud,
When you’re unsure, or feeling left out of the crowd.
They stand beside you when the days aren’t bright,
And remind you that you matter, that you’ll be alright.
A good friend listens when you need to talk,
Claps for your wins, lifts you up when you fall.
They don’t need to be perfect—they just need to care,
Every laugh, every moment… they choose to be there.
A good friend stays when the journey gets tough,
They don’t run away when the road feels rough.
They help you breathe, help you think, help you stand,
’Cause real friends don’t leave—they reach out their hand.
A good friend is a gift that grows over time,
A bond you protect, a connection you find.
And even on days when you feel alone,
Their love echoes softly: “You’re never on your own.”
So choose your friends wisely—be loyal, be true.
Give the same love you hope comes back to you.
And when they ask how your heart grew in the end,
Just tell ’em:
“I learned the real magic…
the power of a good friend.”
